Teaching

I devise and deliver creative writing workshops and projects for a wide range of participants both online and face to face.

Offer

I teach poetry writing and aim to make my sessions interdisciplinary and very interactive in order to maximise relevance and engagement. Workshops and classes can be delivered both online and in person.

Background

With a previous career in teaching and also as Learning Manager at the Scottish Poetry Library, I have extensive experience of facilitating and teaching creative writing sessions for community groups, charities, schools, universities, museums and prisons.

Both as a freelancer and during my time at the Scottish Poetry Library, I have created a wide range of learning resources for schools and community groups including for Burns night, National Poetry Day and Book Week Scotland.

My client list includes Scottish Book Trust, Edinburgh International Book Festival, StAnza Poetry Festival, National Galleries of Scotland, University of Edinburgh, University of St Andrews, Scotdec and Scottish Poetry Library.
