With a previous career in teaching and also as Learning Manager at the Scottish Poetry Library, Georgi has extensive experience of devising and delivering creative writing workshops and projects for a wide range of participants. These include schools, universities, prisons and community groups. She specialises in interdisciplinary teaching and learning in order to maximise relevance and engagement. Workshops and classes can be delivered both online and in person.
Georgi also provides continuing professional development training for teachers on engaging with poetry in the classroom.
Both as a freelancer and during her time at the Scottish Poetry Library, Georgi has created a wide range of learning resources for schools and community groups including for Burns night, National Poetry Day and Book Week Scotland.
Georgi’s client list includes: Scottish Book Trust, Edinburgh International Book Festival, StAnza Poetry Festival, National Galleries of Scotland, University of Edinburgh, University of St Andrews, Scotdec and Scottish Poetry Library.
